Sleekjet,

There is a difference, they are not the same in measurements.

757:

First Class Seat Width 20.0"-21.0"
First Class Seat Pitch 39" / 40"

S80:

First Class Seat Width 19.5"
First Class Seat Pitch 38" - 40"

Slight difference, but I'm sure if you a small man you will fit just fine. Hope that helps.

Boeingfever777 is correct, there is a difference. Check out http://www.seatguru.com/ in the future if you have questions about measurements or if the seat is a good one or not to sit in.

757:
- Slideout tray for drinks from the front middle of the shared armrest
- Wider armtrest.
- Light leather color.
MD-82:
- Individual foldout trays from the front sides of the shared armrest.
- Blue color.

The 757's have the old interiors and therefore have the beige-ish leather. The MD-80's have seats that look exactly like the new coach seats, but are 1st class sized.

Also when you recline the seat moves forward.
