I am looking for high resolution pictures(1024x768) of jetliners and such, but can't seem to find any. Is anyone familiar with such a website ?
The ones on this website are usually smaller. I just want to update my wallpaper every once in a while....

Any help will be deeply appreciated.

Sincerely,

Dash8

Well, many photographers (myself included) could scan our pictures at larger sizes, but dont because of the added memory usuage, bulkiness on screen, etc. If you find a pic you like, but is not big enough, email the photographer with your request and they may be able to rescan it at a larger size.

Why do you need that resolution? I can use any of airliners.net photos as my wall paper (my photos).

I have a 17 inch monitor operating at 1024x768 dpi. I can get any picture and strech it to fit my screen, but it will come out all ugly and distorted. The pixels are larger and the beauty of the picture is lost.
I can center it or tile it, but I don't find that attractive.

I remember there being some large images on the Learjet site. I don't remember the URL but you can link to it through www.aero.und.edu/~shmiller/spottydoglinks.html

I hope this helps. I have some of the other manufactures on that site and they may also have large images like that.
