Usually when I go to EWR, I ride the AirTrain a few times to see what aircraft are parked around the airport, and to get a few pictures. During my last trip, though, a security guard asked for my boarding pass (probably because of my large SLR and camera bag), and I said I did not have one. He said that you have to be a ticketed passenger to ride on AirTrain. Is this true? I have rode on the AirTrain many times in the past, without any incidents.
BTW Is photography allowed on it also? I have been yelled at for doing that too.
