I was just wondering why LGA is on CO's International Route Map? I was looking at how I can get to YYZ (vie CLE, IAH or EWR not ALB) and saw LGA was up there. Was there service to LGA internationally at one point for CO or do they have seasonal service?

One reason LGA may be on CO's international route map is their LGA-IAH non-stop service which offers numerous connecting possibilities from IAH to Mexico, Central America and South America. It may even be that some LGA-IAH flights continue on to destinations in these regions, which would mean CO has same-plane, one-stop international service, which would seem especially to warrant the inclusion of LGA on their international route map.
Having been a timetable junkie for many years, I cannot find a single instance of non-stop international service from LGA by CO, except for a relatively short-lived non-stop service to Bermuda (in addition to service from EWR) which was terminated (moved to EWR) by Sept. 1995. Somewhere in the gaps between my timetables, I may have missed a short-lived takeover by CO of some of Eastern's former international routes from LGA to points in Canada, and/or the Bahamas and Caribbean.
After the completion of Idlewild (IDL -- now JFK) shortly after World War II, all longhaul international/intercontinental flights that served LGA in the immediate post WWII years were moved to IDL.

According to their pdf timetable, ONT is the only listed international city served from LGA, albeit with a connection (usually in IAH). Which begs the question, why show that one particular connection?

The last transatlantic flights left LGA in 1951, but Colonial continued to fly LGA to Montreal for a few years after that. Maybe Eastern did too-- I forgot to look.
It was indeed only longhaul intercontinental flights that were moved from LGA to IDL after the latter was opened. Before the advent of "open skies" between the U.S. and Canada, the three main players from NYC to Canada non-stop were Air Canada (YUL, YYZ, YYC), American (YYZ) and Eastern (YUL).
From as far back as my timetables go (1969), AA and EA flew their respective non-stops to YYZ and YUL from LGA. In 1975, all of AC's flights were from JFK; by 1980, they were flying to YUL and YYZ mainly from LGA (plus a few flights from JFK) while their non-stop to YYC was flown from JFK since the Western Canada city is outside the 1500 mi. LGA perimeter. By 1989, AC had withdrawn from JFK but added EWR, after which their operations from NYC were roughly equal at EWR and LGA until the most recent AC timetable I have in my collection, dated 1998.
All of which strongly suggests that international service from LGA to points in Canada within the 1500 mi. perimeter have continued since the advent of IDL, even if AC is a relative latecomer to LGA.
