I was on ATA's website and bought a ticket for march from Chicago to St. Pete and it has a whole new schedule and flight number. The flight numbers are now in the 4000s and they dropped a couple flights per day. I don't know if this is for their whole schedule or just this route though.

* Minneapolis increases to eight daily departures beginning February 4

That's quite a jump. I wonder what NW will do about this.

What gates does ATA use at La Guardia? Every time I've been there, it seems like they use just one gate. With 8 flights a day to/from Chicago and 4 flights from Indianapolis, and their frequent schedule, it seems like they would be too crammed with one gate.

I am surprised Puerto Vallarta, Sarasota, and Grand Cayman are seasonal services and I wonder when they will start jets from Indy to Chicago, or will they be doing this via the SW codeshare and SW will be increasing frequencies?

Is ATA Removing the biz class seats? I noticed in Amadeus it doesn't show the business class being available. I hadn't heard anything on this, can anyone confirm?

So Am I right when I see that SEA-HNL is still in the future except the times have changed to a AM dep to HNL and a afternoon dep back to SEA?

So this A/C will overnight in SEA?

Sounds like they should red-eye that to ANC or something like that to fit into the SEA-HNL schedule?

BC seat reconfiguration will most likely proceed now as they define their routes and determine which planes they will be returning. I am glad to see things solidify with ATA's restructuring. It is moving in the right direction.

SEA-HNL

ATA does have access to two gates at LGA. I'm unsure of the gate numbers.

My question is does ATA have enough aircraft for this with some in the desert? Will they be brought out of the desert for these increases?

Amazing.....simply amazing.....

Everybody on this board should read and review the bankruptcy court dockets! ATA hasn't paid many bills for months and they are still losing money. It's good to know though that George Mickelsons still took home a little over $47,000 for the month of November and ATA STILL LOST MONEY! Good ol' Muriel Mickelsons even took home $3,200 in November.

Still seems like an ambitious schedule for the amount of aircraft ATA will retain. Chicago Express will most likely only retain 8 Saabs and maybe one spare....how much flying can you do with that??? Oh yeah Evansville and Gary!

ATalndy.....

ATA used to operate one 737 flight a day in each direction. The flight would route IND-MDW-SEA-MDW-IND. It stopped early last year and then C8 announced hourly service.

They also operated a daily MIA-IND-MDW-IND-MIA service until April 2004.

Stlgph.....

Your guess is as good as mine. It is included in the bankruptcy court dockets. One of the dockets is ATA's performance for November which also lists the compensation to officers for that month. Ol' Georgie boy raked in a little over $47,000....while Muriel took in $3,200......next to her name is "Related to Officer." So like I said.....who the hell knows....what does George do???

I wonder if his kids are also employed by ATA in nice cushy jobs as well.

Stlgph.....

Go to the ATA Yahoo message board. Some knowledgable folks have provided a link to the listings. Beware though....give yourself time to read and digest. Also....most of the dockets consist of legal mumbo jumbo and motions so like I said give yourself time to read and digest!

WN knows, but TZ doesn't? We have had a whole lot of sked changes lately with TZ, and all they say is that they can refund this week, or we can call back next week as then they will know what WN will do. Do the res agents know or is it only higher up?
