PHOTO SCREENER

Hi All,

Over the last month whilst screening thousands of pics, it suddenly struck me that I haven't seen a BA world tail for ages. Are there any left in the fleet, or have we seen the last of them???

Andrew

Saw a Chelsea Rose 777 (I think) over Myrtle on Saturday, as we were walking away. I was a bit miffed I missed it. Then we saw the AC Star Alliance 767, and the temptation to throw myself under the wheels of a passing car was very strong.

Cheers

James

One or two of the 767 fleet still carry it I think. The regional fleet still has quite a few too.

there will be more, just got an email from BA here it is,

British Airways are proud to be part of the BBC’s Blue Peter Paint a Plane competition, launching today, Monday 10 January 2005 on BBC1 at 5pm, so be sure to tell the family to be watching!

The programme will also provide an insight into how an aircraft is painted, with round the clock footage following the 8-day process.

The competition gives the chance for children to use their creativity to come up with an innovative design for one of our 757 aircraft. The winning design will be painted onto the aircraft during March for a special launch event at Heathrow, and will then fly for one year as part of our domestic and European schedule.

For information about the competition and how to enter, watch Blue Peter today and click here, to print off a specially created aircraft template to complete your design on.

The competition closes on 28 January 2005 so be sure to get your families’ entries in on time for their chance to win great prizes and the prestige of their own design flying the skies for British Airways.
