Hi guys,

I live in South Wales, UK. I was travelling home as usual this afternoon looking at all the aircraft contrails above (most planes from LHR etc going to N America pass over us). I then looked out over the Bristol Channel and saw a plane (at considerable height - looked like all the others going to the US) circling round and round - could see the contrail. Just wondering whether it was waiting time waiting to land or something else. Never seen it before and it looked like pretty tight turns! (no expert as you can tell.) Any idea what flight it was if it was commercial.
