Its cool - I haven't seen that yet.

Thanks MNeo. Although I'm convinced I'm the only person on airliners who thinks the A380 is actually beautiful and graceful....

That really gives away the new Airbus colors, a lot more than the previous pictures did. It seems to match that Airbus wallpaper that has been going around.

I love it too specially the wing root area, but excuse me the nose needed some more tapering, sure this is the best design for this configuration. So gone are the traditional bright colors, seems so.

maybe i am a bit ahead of time, but those wing span are huge, i am wondering if they can support a high speed exit off runway @60kts without tilting and engines touching surface, also too bad the old HKG is closed, i would love seeing it doing that famous approach and those wingspan rocking in a cross wind situation.

I think Airbus could have done better with the colors... white & grayish blue... boring and "cold".

But oh well, the important is that it will be flying soon!!!

That is the wallpaper I referred to in the third reply. As you can see, it looks very similar to the new tail design. Some people had hinted it may be the new JetBlue tail design, but now it looks like it is the new Airbus colors.

I knew it, the original Airbus paint scheme wouldn't look good on the A380 so they had to put a new one on it. The pattern and colour choice are the best.

Don't worry Qantas, your not alone.  Wink/being sarcastic

The new scheme doesnt seem to be bad, definatley better than the old one. Will they paint all their aircraft with it, like the 7E7 Dreamliner scheme, or only the A380 (and A350)?

Big give away! I wonder if Airbus know and if they would be angry at the photographer for taking that picture and giving it away?

Doesn't the tail portion remind you of the IL86??

Is this the only airbus craft where the the rear tapers both ways. I think all other models taper only up.

If you want to keep your new livery a secret, you should cover it up a bit better. Or maybe they wrapped the tail-up in another layer and we are being fooled  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

No, the A32X series tail tapers both ways as well.

25 Dutchflyer : Hmmm, blue paintjob. Which other manufacturer has one. Not Boeing 7e7.
26 Spike : What is wrong with an un-covered blue backgound job? better than a Boeing bbj I think.
27 Bar032 : The color blue has always been pretty common in the aviation business since it is the color of the sky. The paint-scheme on Airbus's previous a/c has
