Okay all you flight trackers:
I could be crazy and have been known to be, but I could have sworn a CO MD-80 (yes I know they were taken out of service) just flew over my house. Here is why I think this...An ASA CRJ flew over followed by what seemed to be a CO airplane much larger than the CRJ. I kept thinking this could not be correct, but a few minutes after the first CO plane flew over a COEX ERJ flew over and was noticably smaller. I checked the CO website and there is only one arrival scheduled for 4:35 at BPT and is supposed to be operated by operated by a Embraer turbo prop. Anyways if someone could tell me the arrivals between 4 and 5 pm CST at BPT That would be very helpful. Again, I could be crazy and wrong, but it is worth a shot.
Okay, I do not think I am as crazy now...It is 5:25 and a 737 just flew over as well...Any help is appreciated.

Just because the CAL MD-80's are no longer flying revenue, dosn't mean they are not flying. It could have been moved for storage, maintenance at a third party, end of leasing checks....any number of things.

There is really no storage or maintenance facilities at BPT..It is my home airport and the only planes that are "stored" are those that have been confiscated or are no longer airworthy. Iowaman, I found some of that information, but that does not match as the Sky West flight (scheduled turboprop) never flew over, it was just all jets. And as I mentioned, to make things odder, 2 737's few over..One as I mentioned in my earlier post and another one about 30 minutes later. Oh well, stranger things have happened I guess..We have been getting some odd aircraft here lately for our airport including the armed forces DC-9 which I think was a charter. And just so you do not think I am too crazy, I got a real good look at the wingspan and flap configuration of the mystery aircraft and is was much larger than the regionals.
