Any info as to why it's landing there? I know GPT very well and depending on the arrival pattern a lot of people may "feel" that 777 on approach as well as see and hear it.

It could be some some sort of charter. I remember when the Concorde was still flying a few years ago, there was a Fly and Cruise of something like that where you flew to London on the Concorde and could either cruise back or fly back 1st class on BA.

Navy, Marines around there...Also Keesler AFB is located there. THey have a HUGE training base there.
