When is AA going to switch their MD-80s to 737-800s for their MSP-MIA flights? I was looking at flights to MIA around May, and I noticed that it's now operated by 737-800s. If this is true, then this is great. Finally a new AA aircraft at MSP!

The daily flight becomes a 737-800 on 03Apr05.
AA is ending M80 flying out of Miami the day before, so a lot of AA cities will be seeing new 738 service from MIA, including IND, CLT, BNA, ATL, and EWR.

Thanks for the info! It'll be great to see the AA 737s here.

The reverse is happening at ORD, I believe ... AA is ending 738 flights from ORD in an effort to streamline fleet utilization, just like they're ending MD80 flights from MIA.
