CO's 777 LOS Bound?

CO's service to LOS has been discussed to death. I know. But, check out this link:

CO is saying that this new service will be a 777. I thought it was going to be a 767-200.....

What is the deal? Where on earth are they going to get the aircraft? Obviously they are planning are using a 777 for any new China destinations...

I also remember the press release saying the service will commence in spring 2005. Well, nothing yet. Isn't time running a little short??

I noticed that, too, and was a bit confused. I'm sure a lot of widebody usage this summer will depend upon whether or not they get the China route authorities.

I don't know, but as far as 'running short of time' for spring 2005... well, buddy, we're not even ONE MONTH into winter 2005. So that gives them... five more months!

Hey there good buddy, we are now over one month into winter of 2005. Spring starts in a couple more months and the start date still has not been announced. I am so excited about how this route is going to perform. For a bold new route such as this I would expect the announcement of an actual start date more than just a couple months out. Like COEWRNJ, I am curious about the actual start date. Does STT757 or anyone else have any info?

Will it be the 777 or the 767-200?
