HP Retires The B737-200 From Its Fleet

An era has ended for HP.

Yes, HP has retired its last B737-200 from the fleet.

Yesterday, we all visited HP's hangar in PHX and the aircraft was there for all of us to sign.

It was funny to see a lot of things like a shark inside of engine number 1 or a leyend right on the aft compartment door that read "Kiss my AFT".

Other things like "Release the Brakes" right over the nose and farewell messages. (A funny thing is that what can be seen on this image on the nose is no longer there as it got erased in some way. On today's Tribune there were different messages on the nose)

Yes, an era has ended...

The time where this small aircrafts were flying for HP are over. The days with the aircraft that started what HP is today. As I heard yesterday, "This aircraft has retired, which means that HP is far away from retirement".

Thank you N189AW for everything. Thank you B737-200 for being there for us and letting us be what we are now.
