Reasons For JAL's Service Decline

After taking my seventh JAL business class flight in the past six months, I have come to the conclusion that their service standards have declined and not kept up with their Asian peers. I love the beautiful J-class Shell seat but cabin crews are consistently uninspired, food is mediocre, and lounges are, well, dull. I used to fly JAL economy years ago and I remember their cabin service to be top notch. What happened?
