BA Featured On Queer Eye For The "British" Guy

I was watching the hit show on Bravo, "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" This week's episode had the Fab Five travel to London on a BA 777 First Class. While there, the "straight guy" they made over lived on the flight path for Heathrow. He said that the he is fascinated with flight, and right there he started naming airplanes as they went by. I thought it was fascinating, just thought that someone here might find that interesting and fascinating also.

All five of em where in first?! Flippin' heck, I carried one of the BBC's most respected news correspondents in eco and he said they rarely ever paid for anything better! Just right though, speaking as a licence fee payer!

Heh... we also carried a BBC reporter and cameraman a couple of weeks ago in Traveller.
He asked several times for a 'press upgrade'... What!?!

Flighttime - relax - "Queer Eye" is a C4 production so no need to wonder about the Beeb squandering your licence fee money! (Plenty of other opportunities for them to do that..)  Smile

I've certainly seen CNN newspeople in Business on Delta. Flew with one anchor back from LGW one time. I'm also sure that Bravo and BA probably had some agreement so that Bravo (ala NBC) didn't pay anywhere near full fare.

What makes you think they paid?

More likely the asked both BA/Virgin and got the better offer for free...
