Air New Zealand put 30 prizes for auction on http://www.trademe.co.nz for the Tsunami relief appeal. Total raised was $210,709. The biggest bid was for $28,500 which was for a once in a life time, three month unlimited Business class airfare pass. NZs CEO Ralph Norris said "It was the first time we have done something like this and to watch the heavy bidding take place clearly demonstrated that New Zealanders are keen to support the tsunami relief activities," and "Every cent raised is being shared equally between Red Cross, World Vision and Oxfam who are doing an outstanding job supporting those affected by the recent tsunami.".
