TAP and Spanair signed a cosdehare agreement, and will codeshare all routes between Spain and Portugal. This will provide both airlines with a major boost in their Spain-Portugal flights.

TP will become a full member of Star Alliance as of June/05, and is operating codeshared flights with RG and LH.

But Spanair has also an agreement with Portugalia and they are flying in codeshare from MAD to LIS. Will they keep it?

Where have you read June?

I have another source from BMI which says 15th March:

Go to
http://www.flybmi.com/bmi/en-gb/frequentflyers/howtoearnmiles.aspx
and click on "click here". In the window that then opens you will find a footnote about two-thirds down that reads:
"As of 14 March 05 when TAP join the Star Alliance' the classes will fit into the above categories".

And atw.online said something about the end of February:

http://www.atwonline.com/indexfull.cfm?newsid=4943
"TAP Air Portugal and Spanair will start codesharing from the end of March. [...] TAP, which joins Star next month, will place its code on all Spanair ....."

And the LH homepage news talks about spring 2005, which lasts usually from 21st March to 21st June:

http://konzern.lufthansa.com/en/html/presse/pressemeldungen/index.html?c=nachrichten/app/show/en/2005/01/449/HOM&s=0
"The redemption of miles with the respective other airline will be made possible by the admission of TAP to the Star Alliance which is scheduled for spring 2005."

Now we three different dates. Very disturbing.

Off topic: TAP will also move from T2 to T1 in FRA from 1st February with the beginning of the LH codeshare and in MUC from T1 to T2. They have some new room at FRA T1 because EK will go to T2 from the same date.
