Hi All-

I havent posted in a while as Ive been rather grounded the past year with one thing or another, but im off in a few weeks for a quick little Euro holiday. Somehow I was able to land (ha!) a $368 (incl taxes) fare RNO-ORD-CDG on AA for 2-10 March. For that fare I expect a semi soft chair, no more no less. Food? bonus! Lotta firsts for me on this flight-

1) First on AA transoceanic- normally im on VS
2) First time ORD- international- normally I prefer LAX
3) First time 767 service
4) First time CDG EVER ( im a LHR junkie )
5) First time bypassing London (well, not really, im going overnight in there somewhere to take care of stuff)

Im actually travelling to southern Sweden though (Lund), and need to complete the trip with a CDG-CPH flight. My question: If i take the 10 am AF flight CPH-CDG on 10 March, which arrives at 12 noon, is that enough time to catch the 2.25 AA return? Can i check in at CPH and check everything through to RNO? Would I want to? Is that service ever delayed? The SK flight i was looking at 6 hours ago on travelocity is now gone ( those bastards! they didnt email me the password i forgot!). Any good French travel sites that could help me?

Very excited to be going back to CPH- 5th time to that lovely lovely airport, and to get to ride the train over the Oresund again- much fun!

One other question- Ive never been to Paris, just drove around it 2 years ago in a small car with two Dutch friends. Anyway, is it worth it to take a late flight to CPH and go into town? My French is quite good, but I dont know the city at all. What is the one ive-got-5-hours-must-see-cannot-leave-without-with-minor-Metro-fuss thing to do? I do museums, but I also like just soaking up atmosphere wiht a tart and a park bench. I dont care if i see major landmarks or not. WW1-related is a bonus, tourist trap areas are not. Is there a war museum there at all? Like the IWM in London?

Maybe this time Ill post a trip report- I know quite a few got a kick out of my VS horror story from last year. This will hopefully be better!
