A couple of weeks ago someone posted an article stating that TAGG Airlines
of Angola was contemplating purchasing B777's. Has anyone heard any further
information regarding this article.?

First of all, it is TAAG Angola Airlines.

The current fleet consists of 737-200s and 747-300s.

TAAG/AA is in negotiations with Boeing to modernize with (6) six 737-700 and (3) three 777-200. One of the airline's 747-300 was damaged in late '04 in France, leaving them just (2) two operational 747s remaining.
If negotiations progress well, should be hearing the announcement very soon.
