There is evidently sufficient demand between Lyon and Milan, Rome and Venice (this demand is currently being supplied, albeit very expensively, by Alitalia and, sometimes, Regional). But is there sufficient demand between Lyon, the second most populated city in France, and Pisa and Naples, the third most populated city in Italy, even for an ATR-42? I realise these routes would probably be more tourist-orientated, but still: a potential opportunity. No harm in enquiring!
