Did a lookup on flytecomm for Ethiopian 532 today (ETH532) and it came up with a scheduled stop at EWR, on the way to ADD from IAD. Is this a fart in the system or a special stop for today? Plus, according to the schedules, the flight is not supposed to leave until 1930!

I thought they always stoped in EWR en route to ADD. Just like SV stops at JFK en route to RUH and JED. In the last several weeks ET 532 was full leaving IAD both on wednesdays and saturdays. Maybe that's why the flight did not stop at EWR? I was told some kind of religious holiday has been taking place in Ethiopia during the preceding weeks(?) Today, the passanger load seemed a lot lighter than it was last week.

EWR was dropped at the begining of October and ET now flies IAD-FCO-ADD. The data above from flytecomm was corrected once the flight departed to reflect that it was going to FCO.
As for the loads on that ET route, Christmas and New Year's are high times for Ethiopians to go home, and the main wedding season is during the month of January. Seats are even more scarce on the way back to IAD nowadays.
What do you mean you'd get bumped back at IAD? Are you travelling on a pass? If so, your bigger worry would be getting bumped off at ADD, as ADD-BKK is quite popular.
