AFAIK, you have a non-stop service between SYD and JNB avail.

I am not sure about GRU-SYD and SCL-SYD.

Edited to remove error...

PCM is Playa Del Carmen, Mexico - I don't think there are any nonstops to Australia from there.

I forgot about NZ and the Pacific, thanks for the reminder ! There is also PPT, HIR, and SUV (TRW and INU have direct but not nonstop).

I also missed HGU (Mount Hagen, Papua New Guinea)

It's via AKL like LA's flight to SCL.

Not to Europe, the limits to non-stop distance are LAX and SFO in the US (QF has up to 5-6 747s a day to LAX, UA has 1 and also has 1 from SFO). DXB is pretty much the limit east of Australia now

Guys, nobody knows where you are taling about with your BSB-HKG-CRP-BLG routings.

You can fly non-stop from Australia to almost anywhere important except Europe and US east coast. Not sure that you can get to India non-stop though, but will probably be told.

With the A340-500 and maybe the 747-400LR, it is probably possible to reach Australia non stop from places like ATH or FCO. QF did set a record flying LHR-SYD non stop before. IT took something like 20+ hours

ZKSUJ,

Yeah, it was also empty and it was towed to the runway threshold to save fuel.
