When i received the latest KLM email newsletter today, i noticed at the bottom this image:

It's the first time i saw it... did just someone making the newsletter made this logo up, or is this _the_ new logo?

I would imagine that its the new corporate logo for the Air France-KLM group. Wouldn't think it'll end up on ana ircraft any time soon.

May end up on aircraft as a small decal. Much like Cathay Pacific's Swire Group logo.

Between the KLM logo, Skyteam (or KL/NW) logo, their URL, the swan, their website advertisement, plane registration, Dutch flag and EU flag, the KLM planes are beginning to take on an EasyJet "flying billboard" look.  Sad

Last year.
Air France has won its takeover bid for airline KLM, in a deal which will form the world's biggest airline by sales.

Ehhhrr...i think it was yesterday around noon. Some AF and KL flight attendants were having lunch together in Paris and all of a sudden they decided to merge their two airlines.

They took a nap, ordered another sandwich and then signed the contracts.

Could have been the day before yesterday, i am not really sure.

Thank you for making this miserable day a much better one by making me laugh out loud.

You beat me to it! I was wondering exactly the same when receiving their multiple newsletters.

Actually I would think like others said that this will be the corporate and group logo and probably will not show much on the fleet.

I would also guess we can expect the same logo with a different set of colors (say dark blue on white background) to be used by the AF side any time soon.

Now a question would be - if they are to place this logo on the fleets as in the example of CX - whether this will be replacing the Groupe Air France logo with the well-known artistic impression of Pegasus?

I want the European Union flag on airliners.net!
