I'm going TUL-DFW-MIA R/T next month; AA1614 to MIA and AA1945 are both 777's - what luck! My question is: What destinations are these aircraft being repositioned for? Is there a way to find out the 'daily itinerary' for each ship in AA 's fleet?

Well both flight#'s are DFW-MIA and MIA-DFW. You make is sound as your flying a 777 from TUL-DFW... which is
Either way the T7 flies a number of places from DFW. I believe they fly LAX, NRT, LHR, or FRA. As far as outa MIA, they could be flying to SJU, EZE, or GIG. I'm not a AA so that's what I think.
As for "daily itinerary" doubt that, I would think that is a security risk to dis-close the flight path of certain a/c.

Have you picked your seats yet? Call or go to AA.com and try to get any seat between rows 13-9 and you'll end up in Buz class. AA operates a 3 class aircraft but only sells it as a 2 class flight....so coach passengers are distributed between Economy and Buz class

Unless you're Elite, those J seats don't open up till day of departure. Your best bet is to just arrive at the airport early for check-in, which seems like it shouldn't be a problem since your T7 is a connection. Just hope your Triple isn't packed with elites. I had the J seats from ORD-DFW, and the return, and it was a real nice change from Y.

Gradually, AA is weening the T7 service from domestic routes. As they aquire new overseas routes, it will be necessary to use the T7 on the long haul service, ie. DFW-KIX, ORD-NGO, etc.
You can download the AA World Wide Time Table off their website and it shows you daily schedules, flight numbers, and hardward used on all AA flights.

Okay so If im flying on Monday 7th LAX DFW on a 777 does this mean that even though its a 3 class aircraft, Y class will use J class seats too !! Is that right ??

Industrybuff,
I am not familiar with the letters but if you bought a First Class/Buz Class ticket (I believe they dont sell FC anyways) you will be seated in the First Class Section of the aircraft. If you bought a regular economy ticket, as RayBolt explained, you might end up in Buz class.
I ended up on Buz class on my way to AUA in the DFW-MIA sector. We checked in really early in the mroning for the COS-DFW flight and we were dispersed through the aircraft and my dad asked if we could be placed together and they placed us all in Buz .
So if I were you go early and ask if they have any seats available between rows 9-13.

WOW! That's great that AA only sells their 777s domestic in 2 classes! I know they sell the 757s cross atlantic only selling 1 class, are there anymore?
