Hi folks

This a long shot..... but I am going to Holguin, Cuba in April flying from LGW supposedly on Thomas Cook Airlines TCX91K, an A330 but I can't find any reference to this flight having operated from there before using this aircraft.

I'd very much like to travel on the A330 but am a little worried there may be some substitution with another aircraft or airline and whilst I am a great airliner fan, my wife and I do get nervous about flying on, how should I say, 'older types'. The airline were a bit non committal when I enquired, I presume just in case they do have to substitute on the day.

Does anyone out there know if TCX's A330 will be the most likely aircraft for this flight?

If TCX use there Aircraft, it will more than likely be a A330, as they don't have any other aircraft that are capable to fly that route - expect maybe the 757's which have ETOPS.

It is definately an A330-200, the B757's only do the Canada routes,

Yep they do, we'rejust saying, the 757s only do the Canadian routes for long-haul. Not the Boeing 757's do all the Canadian routes Laugh out loud,
