So I was browsing the AA routemaps...and look what I discovered.

If you hover your curser over the Europe area, you will notice that apparently there is still and East and West Germany  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Nothing special...just thought it was funny.

hummmmmm - I tried several times and could not duplicate what you reported. There is a Europe and Eurasia. Clicking on Europe - I only see western Europe. Even doing a view source and find I can see the words West German or East German in the code. Can you provide a better example?

East Germany doesn't appear on the detail map once you click on the region. It's highlighted in red on the main map of the world. There's a little finger of land delineated between Germany and Poland -- the former East Germany.

I am NOT talking about the detail map, I said hover your curser over the map (till it turns red) if you click it, then yes, it displays Germany's true borders...post 1945 that is.
