Hey,

http://www.planepictures.net/netshow.php?id=304952&count=false

I was wondering, How many aircraft are in the fleet of Air Deccan?
How many planes are on order, if any?

Please can I have as much information on Air Deccan, I saw the 1st Ever Air Deccan plane come out of the Hangar at Bournemouth, and I saw all of the first 3 planes, I would love to find out how they are doing.

I believe 3 A320s and 7-8 ATR42s, with 30 ATR72, 30 A320 ordered.

hi Jimmi
Air Deccan is the first LCC in India, based in Bangalore(BLR).Although there are two other private carrier which happen to be full service.
They started their operation with two ATR's and also inducted few A320 after a short period.
Their website being http://www.airdeccan.net/airdeccan/home.asp
Besides these recently acquired 3 A320, I think they have 20 more in pipeline.
They have really stimulated the aviation market in India.

They are offering good salaries too  Smile
But currently there is a big shortage of Pilots & Engineers in the Indian Aviation scene.
With AI Exp,IA,Spicejet,Kingfisher....& International sectors ops.
The Supply chain is weak.

I wonder how much KF will pay for ground ops?? Can't be worse than 9W. Then it'll be bad  Sad

Who can forget Captain Gopinaths excellent marketing strategies and schemes like

"the 500 INR ticket"

"BLR-DEL in all economic 800 airbus A380 in 2008/9"

He creates hype and awareness in the market without any advertisements--A true marketing genius"

airbus A380 in 2008/9
That was the best  Big thumbs up
Guess what Vijay Maliya told his Engineers & Pilots some time back that if the Market demands it KF would get the A380 too  Smile
Guess AAI does not listen to their Press releases.
