Today, Boeing celebrates the 36th anniversary of the first Boeing 747 flight that first took off from Seattle, Washington Boeing Headquarters on February 9, 1969 on its first test flight by Boeing test pilots. It was a great day in the history of Boeing to be the first aerospace company to come out with the largest commercial jetliner in the world. Today there are more than 1500 Boeing 747's servicing more than 100 different airlines around the world today. GO BOEING!!!!!
