Amerijet won authority from the US DOT to start cargo service to Ecuador. The airline won two weekly dormant frequencies the Evergreen never used. Amerijet plans to serve Ecuador via Panama City with its 727-200 fleet, to Manta, Ecuador. It will be the only US airline serving Manta. The airline said it is considering wet-leasing DC-10s, if the service is successful.

by the way what are the other carriers that are offering cargo flights from the US to Ecuador?
UPS - 7; Arrow Air - 7; Gemini Air Cargo - 3; Atlas Air - 6; Florida West - 5. Amerijet won two unused frequencies previously allocated to Evergreen. I do not believe LanCargo serves US-Ecuador directly, it is probably through Florida West, in which they own a minority stake in the company.
I think Amerijet will do fine on this route, though an aircraft larger than a 727-200 may be necessary.
