Time For New Control Tower At BHX?

In the background of these photos you will see the current control tower in use at Birmingham, England.

To me it looks very out dated. BHX claims to be a key UK airport and has great expansion plans. In my opinion they should get a new modern ATC tower.

Does anyone know how old the current one is? It looks VERY old.
