Hi all,

Does anybody know the name of the architect that designed Berlin TXL und SXF?

Thanks
Frederic

TXL (and STR, by the way): Meinhard von Gerkan.

I'm not sure SXF even has an individual architcet, I guess it was done by some commie state owned collective bureau.

You can also add terminals 2 and 4 in HAM to it. No idea on the architect of SXF, though.

Thanks Daniel!

I had already a feeling that SXF wasn't designed by an individual architect...

As for SXF, I would say that it was designed by the Volkseigenes Kombinatsbüro für luftfahrtrelevante Gebäudeeinrichtungen  Big grin.

On a sidenote: how many Sabenas do we have as A.net crew? This is impressive!

That is hilarious Patrick. German is probably the most fun language in the world, even if German's are not all that funny (most of the time) Big grin

@BuyantUkhaa: ask Darwin about that, it might have to do with his theory about the 'survival of the fittest'  Big grin

@Patrick: LMAO!  Big thumbs up
