Thats a very good question. I spent many an hour trying to find a website that offered flight prices and comparisons for all European LCC airlines (hoping to find a LCC version of expedia.co.uk)
Unfortunately, expedia seems to only list major airlines such as BA, KLM, AF, BMI etc etc.
After much hassle I just decided to do a search for European LCCs and look at the individual prices, I did find a couple of airlines that were really cheap (apart from EasyJet and the dreaded Ryanair) such as jet2.com and flybe.com
Too bad a LCC version of expedia doesn't exist, theres an idea for someone!..

you are best off going direct with the airlines, ie easyjet.com, ryanair.com whateverairlineucanthinkof.com where you will get the best fares. most sites like opodo and expedia only have scheduled airlines (although sone of these do offer loco flights). You will never get EZY or FR on these sites or the like.
but as with anything, reserach and time looking for cheap fares will bring you the best results

A great little website is www.skyscanner.net. this website lets you put in your routes and dates and will compare airlines prices. You can also look at the route for the whole month to see when is cheapest. It doesn't have all the airlines, but is very comprehensive.

Thanks for all the help. I was actually looking for a good flight between ZRH and DUB. There is not much choice: Swiss or Air Lingus. Air Lingus is a bit cheaper. When you choose a flight via London or MAN (e.g. BA) it is more expensive. There are no LCCs between ZRH and DUB.

There is a very good one which is Italian based and only gives you the Low Cost Carrier operations. They also can do comparison and the site advises you when there is a cheaper mainline alternative and you can even book it.
