Tonight at 18:55h is the German TV station Pro7 showing a one hour lasting special of the information show "Galileo". The moderator of the show is trying to fly around the world in only 70 hours, they will show him flying on Privatair from MUC to EWR, on Singapore Airlines from EWR to SIN, on Thai from SIN to BKK and on Lufthansa from BKK back to MUC. Of course they do not only show him sitting in the planes but also interesting background stuff like catering, operations, engineering, etc.

this is definitly not the first time of a show about the rount trip. but its new for galileo. i had such a trip (within 80 hours ROW) just a few weeks ago. when i started a thread about the longest flights. specially the EWR - SIN flight seemed quite interesting. but it was not with the mod of galileo.
i will watch it

btw, according to the current routings, it's not a real RTW since the flight to SIN goes back over the north atlantic so it's more a triangle than a circle )
