Rumour on Pprune that EUjet has folded, any more news on it? Whether it's true or not?

Its website seems to be functioning properly and there does not appear to be any note to the effect that it has ceased operations, but we shall see.

EUjet have recently released details of flights from Belfast International to Manston. A daily round trip starting end of March. When Jet2 and Easyjet recently announced their extra routes, they really heavily publicized and advertised these in local press and other media, however if it wasn't for me having an interest in aviation I wouldn't know about the EUjet route.
How on earth do they expect to get business and get their brand across to the public here in Northern Ireland. After all the flights are meant to start in just over a month!!!
Hope they don't go under, hope to see them at BFS.

Just tried to get on their website and it says;

SERVICE UNAVALIABLE

Somebody else try to see if it is the same for you. Id have to say it RIP EU jet.
Not a suprise when you use a airport that hardly anybody knows where it is, and I can't see any of the more succesful LCCs taking the airport up.

The thread on PPrune was started prematurely becasue someone was told by someone else etc etc. So far, there is nothing anywhere that states EUJet are in liquidation or even near it.

Read a bit further down the PPrune post and you'll see the perpetrator apologises for jumping the gun

Cheers

Andy

Sadly their website is not down. The Service Unavailable notice is posted in lieu of their normal site code.

Does not look promising... Having said that, this could be a case of their hosting company (for whatever reason) withdrawing the facility.

I think there was a thread on A.net about EUJet's liquidity a few months ago and I vaguely remember they were given a GBP 30 million-injection in order to at least survive over the next 2 years. Anyone remember that thread and the financial injection?

Same for me! I once flew them AMS-MSE but not because they told me about that route in any kind of commercial. No advertising as far as I know, at least not here in the Netherlands.
