It's nice to see a European airline still using the A342. But this livery really looks good. That light blue belly makes it easy to spot from underneath.

A little bit more phantasy would look nice on aircraft...
But then it's the beancounters that decide on aircraftpaintings these days...

Those A340-200s are becoming an old aircraft. Does OS plan on retiring/replacing them anytime soon or in the foreseeable future? Maybe replace them with more A340-300s or the slightly improved A340-300 Swiss Air Lines operates?

Quoting AlitaliaMD11 (reply 7): I posted this, this afternoon around 12:56 Spain time, at that time the photos where not on A.net.
The photos have been added to the database around 09:15 A.M. Austrian time (well before any other database) which is also spanish time . Although the headline was added later.
Nothing personal AlitaliaMD11 just a clarification.

Doesn't repainting an aircraft usually signal that it will stay with that particular airline for a while? Especially when they paint it in such an individual livery? Had it been all-white with a small "Austrian" it would look more "available for sale"-like.
If the A342's are doing the job at an affordable cost, then why not keep them another 5 years...

Hahaha,
Jaysit, that's a funny comment. Even though I like Airbus aircraft, just like I do with Boeing aircraft, it always makes me laugh when people start talking about the hair dryers or 4 apu's on the A340. It just sounds funny, that's all. Keep them aviation jokes coming...

.....and sad to see that I'm the only one thinking that plane looks nice! It has an open and fresh feeling similar to Scandinavian. Thank god it's not just another Euro-white spinoff either.
