Why UA882 Cancelled 2/23?

Does anyone have any idea why UA882 ORD-BOS was cancelled today (2/23)? I was supposed to nonrev on this flight and just before leaving the office I checked to status to find out that it was cancelled. I called UA, but they said they didn't have any info on it. Also, does UA frequently cancel flights that have multiple daily segments if the loads are not strong? I have experienced cancelled flights several times on ORD-BOS and ORD-LGA, so I just thought that might be a reason. Thanks.
