- costs of leasing airplanes (737/320)
- costs of registering airplanes
- plane insurance (same types)
- cost of jet fuel in Europe
- wages for LCC pilots/cabin crew
- landing/TO fees at different European airports
- other fees that I am not aware off (prolly bunch)

Thanks a bunch...

New: $250k/mo
Old 737-200: $25k/mo

For some reason it is much cheaper than the US...but I am not sure the exact figure. It can be as higher than crew costs in the states.

I used to Lease planes from Boeing Finance. I remember that a M80 was 184,000 Dollars a month, I would bet that a 737-700 would be able to be had for a similiar price since the lease market is so weak right now.

I would bet $150,000 to $210,000 month for a A319/320.

I would bet "old" planes like 737-300/400 could be had much much more cheaply, hopefully someone else will post.

good luck!

Now they (MD-80) are about $35k (US Dollars). Great lease price for an aircraft with a great fuel burn.

If you started up leasing (most purchase with sweet deals from Airbus or Boeing), this would be the type of a/c to go with since it has these low lease rates and only burns 900 gal/hr and carries 174 pax. A320 carries the same and still burns 820 gal/hr. No matter how expensive oil gets, the extra $200k/mo will never be worth it!
