I want to fly from FRA-DEN on LH, They use the 747 on this route. Do they have PTV's in coach, and is LH business class nice?
I have a chance to fly either coach or business, price is small, SO either would be cool.
The 747 I would fly on has a coach cabin holding 310. Now UAL puts 260 in coach, and it is a bit cramped behind E-PLUS. Is the 747 on LH a cramped fit, FRA-DEN is a long flight.

It is a small price to pay being an airline employee. I didnt mean to come off like that. I have only taken LH inter Europe, never long haul. I guess I would rather spend a few bucks having fun, not sitting in a metal tube for 10 hours. Thanks for the replies.

I don't think the new biz is fitted on LH's 744, but for a small price you should definitely have "old" biz class. Having had biz on LAX-FRA with LH, I found it OK but don't compare it to lie-flat seats. I think LH is also using the 340-600 for Denver, if you have that opportunity (check it) I would say use it because they have the new biz seats.
Otherwise if you BA possibility, it would certainly be worth to make the LHR stop.

If your going from Denver to Frankfurt take United if you can. They probably have ptv on thier 777s. Don't be tricked into thinking that because LH is a german airline, they will have special service even in 3rd class. They basically have nothing special at all. Even their old style IFE is very bad, a couple of cartoons and news. United has a better old style IFE. You probably want to experience LH but if the 3rd class ticket is more than uniteds it would be a waste of money.

Is there any chance that Lufthansa will look at FLL in the future? I'd love to see a 330 operate in there one day, even if it were seasonal. Any thoughts are appreciated.
