Interesting news RCS763AV. I'm anxious to see the new livery and wonder how it will look like. Too bad I live in Europe, I would have loved to see it live myself  Sad

I hope we will get to see the new livery on internet as soon as possible.

Saludos,

If you take a picture of the new AV plane please also take a picture of the Inter DC-9-30 with the new colors, it can be seen from the 26th street (Avenida el Dorado) peatonal bridge just before the Avianca puente aéreo.

Woah! Now that was unexpected... At least for me since I have not heard from Inter in a long time. What is their status? What does their new c/s look like?

As for Inter, all the planes have been taken by the Government given that it seems that one of its owners had links with drug-dealers. So Inter is just part of history.

Regarding Avianca's new livery, well, right now I am finishing things here in my office and will immedately head towards El Dorado, however, since my username is going to be deleted from these forums I will not be able to give you details on how it will go on. Wait for AV757.

Inter is bankrupt and finished, but there's a plane, the one I said which got to be painted with the new scheme. Is white with Inter blue letters and an orchid in the tail (I think it's nice, specially since I saw it personally) and is parked near the peatonal bridge, a picture could be perfectly taken from there if someone at BOG would, the plane's registration is HK-4310. Precisely as they're bankrupt it'd be nice to keep that picture before the Airplane is taken away. BTW, it belonged to Midwest Express.

Are you going to delete your user name or would you like me to take care of it? Obviously, if you don’t like the way things are run here then I assume you will just delete yourself? Let me know.

So I think it is just matter of a few hours an I'll be out of here.

FINALLY the new AVIANCA ( Aerovías del Continente Americano), identity that was presented some moments ago in Bogota Colombia.

I hope that this will be the beginning of a new 85 years for AVIANCA!

Well good to see the red colors to come back with those nice BIG AV titles, only I had hoped to see the Colombian flag "ala" DL on the tail.
Can I see some little Colombia titles at the rear??
It also looks like the old and new livery of LAN but now in red.

Very interesting!!
Can't wait to see it for real!!

Looks like the old one but with the colors reverted, where there was white now there's red and viceversa (except for the tail).

I like it very much! (specially baring in mind the current scheme).
Just as I expected, way better than the current one but no better than the good ol' red.

Still I think it's a wonderful scheme!
Thumbs up for AV!.

Dude! you must be one of the few that really likes that livery. I mean, it's not that it's thaaat bad, but it's dull and baring in mind the scheme it replaced (and the history of Summa) it just gets worse.

But everyone is entintled to their opinion, as for me, I'm glad for the change.
