Hi all

Caught a UPS MD11 on the HF box on the 26th, 'UPS9451' routing Zurich to Louisville, then same callsign for Louisville to Roswell on 27th.

Anyone know which one it was ? I'm idly guessing that as it was ex Zurich, perhaps one of the old Swiss examples ?

 Confused

Cheers,

According to the wonderful Zurich spotter website aerpix.net (or rwy14.aerpix.net in German), the aircraft is

N280UP
MDD MD-11
United Parcel Service
ZRH, 26 Feb 2005 Die ehemalige N38WF verliess nach über 5 Monaten Zürich in Richtung Louisville. Sie geht an UPS und wurde vor kurzem auf N280UP umregistriert. (translated as "The former N38WF leaves Zurich after five months bound for Louisville. It is going to UPS and will shortly be reregistered as N280UP." However, the photo on the website shows it with the N280UP registration). Aircraft was previously operated by Swiss as HB-IWP.

Thanks BWI1  Big thumbs up

Do you have the link to this picture please? It's still officially registered N38WF.

Thanks!  Big thumbs up

Wouldn't have thought the authorities would have allowed the flight with a ficticious registration painted on.
