EDIT: Ahh, I see it's not a joke, but that you've just left out a bunch of information. "The CRJ900 LR jetliner provides an increased payload and range over the ER version and can carry a full passenger load more than 1,030 miles (1,658 km) from a 5,800-foot (1,767 m) runway." Its standard range was already more than 1658 km, but doing it fully-loaded and taking off from a short runway is the key, I suppose.

Will Bombardier have an official "launch" when they roll out the CRJ705 aircraft? In the name of good marketing they ought to make it something special to boost interest and sales. Or will they wait until AC Jazz have received their first aircraft and have logged a certain number of flights and customer feedback?

I would expect AC to do something, particularly since it would want to undescore the customer benefits (two classes, 34" seat pitch in economy, PTVs, leather seats) and perhaps have Bombardier chip in...
