It seems the other post was deleted for some reason, maybe because the pictures couldn't be seen since the bandwidth was exceeded.... Did anyone happen to save the pictures so they can post them, or provide a working link?

CALMSP

The pictures on the thread were not of an aircraft flying... they were an aircraft in a hangar...  Smile

The pictures were up for some time but the original poster didn't plan on so many views so they had to be taken down. Looks like you'll just have to wait!

The Lockheed Constellation was top secret stuff until its first flight, I think...

I bet the photos were staged on a free server with limited traffic, and with these winglets' news factor - it don't take long before they go in black.
From sources in US I know the CO752W will be moved out of the hangar later this week, so maybe in a few days we'll have new photos up  crossfingers

Is this winglet mod being done by Skunkworks?!?  shhh

It's true though - you shoot pics of an airplane in flight or on an airport you're OK. But when you shoot pics FROM INSIDE a hangar, of an airplane that is IN that hangar - that can be big trouble. I had to pull down a 10,000 hitter of my own for doing that...  biting   hissyfit

LOL the new emoticons work...  praise

I'd rather shoot BAD_MOTIVE

I posted those pictures but the bandwith got exceeded (it wasnt my server anyway). If I only had made a backup of those pics, I could have placed them on my own server... (or maybe anyone has copied the pics to his computer? in that case, could you send them to me?)

For anyone who has seen the real photo; How close does it look to the fake one listed in post 9?

The winglets themselves looked close. The color, not so much. As I recall they were blue winglets with a thin gold stripe at the bottom.

Also the winglet mods weren't finished as their were still missing panels on the wing.

It looked good.

There were some real pictures posted on a link at Jetphotos.net, however, the link was to one of those free build your own websites, so his data transfer for the past week as been shot so you cant see the pics.
