I wanted to know if there were any Virgin Employees? Is it a fun airline to work for? How is it working for Richard Branson?
Richard Branson is awesome! This guy seems to make gold, and he seems to enjoy doing what he does. Makes you wonder what crazy thing he has planned next!!???

That is a good question. I am sure they are all properly disguised

Hi Mike!
So how is it working for Virgin? Is the company a "fun" company to work for. I do understand that work is work, but is the atmosphere interesting?
How is it working for Sir Richard Branson? Have you met him, and does he show his employees that he appreciates them? Incentives, etc?
What do you see with Virgin USA? Do you think it will be successful, and do you plan to join that sector?
And the final (might be!) what do you see Sir Richard Branson doing next? I mean, he is obviously a very smart business man. The publicity from the last Round The World Flight had "Virgin" everywhere. Great advertisement if ya ask me!
Thanks!
Oh yes, does Richard Branson really go through these forums?

Hey Animal-
I have no idea if SRB actually scans these forums. Something tells me not... but that's just a guess anyway.
Virgin is always innovative and operates as a customer-first airline. Like any job, after any length of time, it has its high and low points. I work within the airport/customer service departments. Mostly it is OK. The edgy, in-your-face attitude of the past 20 years or so have certainly been toned down. We all find ourselves more bottom-line driven, and responsive to trends... moreso than in the past. Sometimes its hard remembering the pre-9/11 days when commercial aviation was reallllllly fun... (sigh).
VSAmerica is still a pipe dream. There is a super-terrific, great, amazing management crew in place (a few of which I know personally), but different US legislation makes foreign-ownership of a US company tricky. Then there's that little investor/funding issue...
I have met SRB a few times. He always seems to be a stand-up kind of chap. Always personable and always a blast to be around. As far as what he'll be doing next... WHOA! I have no idea. Just puuulllleeease don't sell the remaining 51% of VS!!!
