On Sunday Mrach 6 2005 Delta 50 from ATL to CDG diverted to BDL. I am curious as to why - mx?, medical emergency? and why BDL and not JFK or BOS. It arrived at BDL at 939pm and left at 120am. Thanks for any info.

I was there at checkpoint A-1 and know that an Ambulance was called in. Two paramedics were escorted by the state police to the Delta Gate. In my opinion it had to have been a medical, but the medics didn't have a gourney with them ???
Just My 2 Cents
The opinions I post are of mine and mine alone, not of the airline I work for.

It was a medical emergency. When that occurs you go to the closest airport which was BDL.
The aircraft was then going to fly to JFK to pick up a new crew, however the aircraft was processed quick enough in BDL that they weren't going to be in danger of timing out. So the aircraft flew onto CDG.
It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now.
