Are MyTravel ever going to update the cabin interiors. They are still using the Airtours seats and all they have done since the re-branding is put MyTravel logos on the head rest.
They are starting to look really dated. Most other British Charters have gone through a variety of cabin changes so why not MyTravel!! With such bright planes on the outside, you would expect something equally as dazzling on the inside.

I was thinking this the other day, the Airtours interior doesn't exactly match the planes MyTravel exterior and I do think they look a bit dated. How long have they had that fabric? Since about 1991 I think. I think the problem is, with the colours of the airline being Blue and Orange, what else could they use as fabric inside? They could also be saving some money at the moment. Suggestions for a new one, maybe a nice Pale Orange colour, not to bright or not to dark.

The interiors are replaced every few months as with carpets when they become warn. The Premier Gold cabin has been refurbished and the main cabin will be in due course. The current cabin is very versatile and doesn't look out of place to be honest.
There was 4 years until they finally got round to painting more than 20% of there aircraft, what’s the chances of changing the seats as well.
Since your in a MyTravel bashing mood, would you like to calculate the percentage of how many aircraft are in different liveries at Britannia, sorry Thomsonfly and just how long it has taken them considering there re-brand began before MyTravel‘s!

Orange seats?!:O I hope not lol. I think a nice plain navy seat and an orange headcover would be a good idea. Orange seats might be a bit hard on the eyes
And when AIH changed to MYT they did chage the cabins slightly, they have MyTravel in frosted glass on the front bulkheads on the Airbii, and also have added clouds to the other bulkheads. The seats have remained the same along with the green seatbelts.
Although on the A330 in premium they changed the seats from cream with AIH, to a navy blue leather with MYT.
I'd rather sit in an MYT cabin than the bright green (monstrocity) that is the FCA seats which require sunglasses.

Probably something to do with the fact the entire MyTravel group has been on the brink of collapsing for the past two years? We all know MyTravel hasn't been in great shape for a while so perhaps they didnt think throwing money away on new cabins was worth it. Like Thomas Cook has said, the current cabin is versatile, there isn't anything fundamentally wrong with it, it serves its purporse.
MyTravel are now finally turning their fortunes around and on the road to recovery. Maybe in the next couple of years we may see a new cabin, when MYT are in a position to do it.

Quoting SignalOne (Reply 21): Next year I may be traveling with MyTravel on a Long Haul holiday in the Premiair Gold Cabin. Would you recommend it?
Deffinatly So. They may have taken a few extras out since when i travelled but thats nothing much.
35" Seat Pitch
Extra Wide Seats
What you used to get but im not sure anymore
I forgot to mention ... - The fact that they taken out a couple of extras seems to have resulted in the prices being dropped quite a bit. The same flight as i did the price was £239 (high season upgrade) and now is £179 (high season upgrade) so i would say it is still worth the expense.
