I hear that AvCraft, maker of the 328JET, has filed for bankruptcy. Anyone else?

Haven't heard that. Last I heard they were ramping up and things were busy when I was at the factory a couple of weeks ago.

Filed today for bankruptcy protection with a german court. Word is that there are still some frames not yet paid by customers and AvCraft urgently needs that money. Seems that they only sold the frames inherited from FD, but never started production?!? Anyone able to verify what is actually going on?

Others say, that Bartel and the german plant manager are more or less at loggerheads and haven't tralked with each other for some time - and that AvCraft didn't fulfill its contractual obligations financially.

I understand that Hainan hasn't taken its jets (again) and that this is part of the problem.

It all looks bad now for what is left of Fairchild-Dornier. Just last night, they showed the auction of the 728 production line. The 728Jet prototype got sold for a measly 19,000€  Sad . And to think the same could happen to the 328 production line and the airframes still there...
