i expect the same as most 747 first class tickets, most people flying are there to get to a destination not to be on a specific plane like us. they wont be happy paying more just to be on a special plane, appart from concorde

How ridiculous! It'll depend entirely on the segment. SIN-ORD will likely cost a lot more than, say, TYO-HKG or something. Jeez.

Thats like asking how much a car costs! Without specific's it's totally irrelevant.

It does not only depend on the segment but also on the airline.

Quite correct, and in that vain it'll depend on the currency, and the demand, and god knows what else!

I'd say about $2,345.80.... give or take $36,530.22. Hope this helps.

Easy there, folks...think the question was meant to be read along the lines of "how much will a ticket on the A380 cost relative to existing airliners." Or, in other words, will there be any economy of scale from the bigger jet? Or will fares go up because of more amenities?

The answer is still "we really don't know", since airlines haven't decided on seating and how much area they're giving over to the gyms and duty-free shops yet  Yeah sure but it isn't as silly of a question as one might think. Just premature.

Why does everyone have to get so pissy? Give the guy a break! It was just a question.  hissyfit

Sorry, I don't have an answer, but I would agree with someone above, that it probably will not be more than an equal-length current FC segment.

I guess that's what happens in the end, you start thinking about the beginning.

Good luck with that! No seriously, good luck! You'll need it!

You can't compare ticket prices on the A380 with the 747. The 747 doesn't have tennis courts, restaurants, showers, private staterooms, etc.  conehead
