I am looking to take a domestic trip on a widebody (DC-10, B747, B777, A330, A340 or something similar)next month but I can't find any of these types on domestic routes anymore. I'm looking at flying out from BOS, JFK, or EWR. Can someone tell me who/where are these types of widebodies still being used domestically. Thanks

Usually to the hub or on High Capacity routes, but generally not any larger than a 767/330 anymore. UAL used to op domestic 747's but they can't fill them anymore. For the 777, I think DL is still runing some from ATL- MCO and UAL might be running LAX - IAD. They're going to be tough to find.

NW flies DC-10's from SEA and MSP to HNL. DL flies a few routes out of ATL on 777's (like to Florida), and AA flies a few positioning flights out of DFW (to LAX) and MIA (to JFK). UA also uses the 777 on some flights to HNL and out of DEN to ORD. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

A few months after 9/11 i flew 777 from EWR-mco first class it was amazing. The only reason being CO had grounded all Europe service at the time and that day the stand by list was at like 40 ( my dad works for co ) it was so cool flying the 777 for a 2 hour flight.
