AA-US Airways Tidbit

We have all heard the rumors about an AA- US Airways link up but I have just read something very interesting on CNNfn.com, they quote the "Fresno Bee" newspaper as saying that AA gave up a slot at London-Gatwick which was used on MIA-LGW so US Airways could get it for its service from CLT-Charlotte. I thought this was rather interesting; although I still believe a merger is unlikly. Maybe a broader allliance is in the cards.

USAirways has money AA doesnt. They supposed to sign papers last week but they still talking.
I would love to see A300 in USAirways colours.
