I would think its about time that Macau gets a better ILS... today there have been almost NO arrivals whis is rather silly. Even in a Typhoon some flights operate to Hong Kong... now some low clouds close Macau!!

When they get airlines like Air Asia and soon the new Virgin Blue I think they should tell them this happens on more than a few days of the year!!... It pays to use CLK!!  Smile

Go to http://www.ada.com.mo/ and see the arr / dep page (click the timetable at the top and then the live arr / dep)....  wideeyed

What level is Macau's ILS? Cat II? Any news regarding the new carriers from both HKG and Macau?

While in HK this passed January. I was told by a local, fog is typical this time of year . Then Typhoon season would follow . So , going to HK this time of year was not a good idea .

Is that true ?

Thanks

Hi,

The only thing that shuts HKIA is a Typhoon... and that does not happen much!.
